Why get a portrait?

Our portraits sessions are where we love to get creative and vary the types of images we capture. Your portraits will have a collection of different backgrounds, lighting and we’ll be changing the distance between the camera to the subject as well. We offer outdoor sessions at locations that help tell the story of your brand. You’ll walk away with a wide range of images to use for your own marketing purposes.

Why us?

We understand that your day is already busy as it is. For that reason, whether it’s from the comfort of your home or your office, we bring the studio to you! We offer hour and a half sessions as well as group rates for the whole team!

About the Session

As said previously, we bring the studio to you! We like our clientele to bring a variety of clothing options and generally shoot a handful of looks throughout the session. As we set up, we talk about the goal of your headshots and where they will be displayed. We capture and discuss the images as we go. We help coach you through the whole process and educate you on what angles and expressions work best for you. Reviewing the shots in this way helps us determine their quality for use in representing your brand. Through this method, we will be able to fine tune the session and help you walk away with powerful images.

At the end of the session, we’ll do a review of the images. You’ll be narrowing them down to only your favorites that you’d like to keep for purchase.

Clothing

Feel free to bring a variety of clothing options. The important rule for us about clothing is that you love it. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing it, you’re most likely not going to perform well with them. We suggest a range of different cuts, colors and necklines. For corporate clients, we like the men to bring different jacket/shirt/tie combos and for women a variety of blouse/dress/jacket combos. It’s important to keep jewelry to a minimum. Simple necklaces, stud and small earrings work; anything hanging or chunky will usually draw too much attention to itself. If you wear glasses and have multiple pairs, please bring them in order to determine their glare factor. If you have any doubts about whether a piece of apparel will work or not just bring it. If you’re an actor, layers are fantastic and don’t have to be seasonal; t-shirts, tank tops to sweaters and light jackets work well. Have fun with the session, if you feel like your wardrobe could use variety then go shopping and we’ll keep the tags on if you want to return the items after the shoot.
